The Hitchcock Foundation Scholar’s Program is designed to increase the number of extramurally funded, clinically oriented researchers at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center and Dartmouth College. The program offers two years of career development support to promising early-career faculty committed to clinical research. Scholars receive salary support, operational funds, and are expected to have strong mentorship and departmental backing, including a required departmental salary match. The program aims to foster research independence and enhance career trajectories for clinician-researchers.
