Description
The Hocking County Community Fund (HCCF), a local affiliate of the Foundation for Appalachian Ohio (FAO), awards annual grants with support from donors and in partnership with FAO. The program supports nonprofits, schools and public organizations carrying out projects and programs that benefit the people and communities of Hocking County. Gifts to the fund’s endowment are invested, with earnings returned to the county through local grantmaking.
The fund advances opportunities across five “Pillars of Prosperity”: arts and culture, community and economic development, education, environmental stewardship, and health and human services. Its emphasis is on supporting people of all ages who spearhead work that creates opportunities, meets pressing needs and helps realize Hocking County’s potential.
