Description
This funding opportunity, offered by the ALS Association, aims to enhance access to multidisciplinary care for people living with ALS by supporting capacity expansion at existing ALS clinics, Recognized Treatment Centers, Certified Treatment Centers of Excellence, or new clinics able to meet the Association's requirements. The program funds initiatives such as additional clinic days or telemedicine/remote care approaches to increase the number of patients served. Funding can be used for clinic personnel salaries, essential equipment, outreach to underserved populations, team training, and clinic efficiency projects. The ultimate goal is to ensure more individuals with ALS benefit from coordinated, evidence-based care delivered by interdisciplinary teams, improving patient outcomes and quality of life.
