Description
This Horizon Europe call funds research and innovation actions (RIA) to develop holistic solutions for the integration of Connected, Cooperative and Automated Mobility (CCAM) in critical and high-risk scenarios. The goal is to improve the resilience, safety, and societal acceptance of CCAM systems under conditions such as extreme weather, road incidents, cyberattacks, and operational disruptions. Projects should deliver comprehensive collections of critical use cases, stakeholder analyses, and real-time situation interpretation services for diverse road users and authorities. The call emphasizes the creation of architectures and tools for detecting and mitigating corner cases, harmonizing interfaces with road authorities and emergency services, and establishing decision-support tools for mobility platforms and emergency systems. There is a strong focus on user trust, safety, societal impact, and the integration of social sciences and humanities (SSH). Projects must build on insights from previous initiatives and contribute to the European Partnership on CCAM, aligning with common EU methodologies and standards.
