Description
Hollows Grants are offered through the Vermont Community Foundation’s Hills and Hollows Fund to support schools and community groups serving Poultney and nearby communities. Supported activities include academic field trips, after-school activities, classroom programs, and special events at the Poultney Library. Grants can also address one-time unforeseen needs, unique opportunities, and transportation expenses. Programs that encourage participation, community engagement, connection, and belonging are of special interest.
Established in 2003, the fund supports educational opportunities, children and families, and the future sustainability of the area. Funding can sustain existing services, seed promising projects, or help organizations outside Poultney extend their outreach to area residents. Collaborative work using existing community resources, programs, services, or individual expertise is encouraged.
