Holocaust Education Grantmaking Program FY27 supports educators, faith leaders, and concerned individuals with museum visits to help them teach others about the Holocaust, genocide, and war crimes.

Funding Amounts: Up to $3,000 for museum-visit travel, hotel accommodation, and per diem food expenses

Description
The Community Foundation of the Ozarks (CFO) runs this program to support museum-based learning by educators, faith leaders, and concerned individuals. It funds visits to either the St. Louis Kaplan Feldman Holocaust Museum or the United States Holocaust Museum in Washington, D.C., with the goal of helping participants educate others about the Nazi Holocaust, other historical and contemporary genocides, and other war crimes.
Funding is provided through eligible charitable organizations serving the CFO service area. By supporting mileage, hotel accommodation, and per diem food expenses, the program connects visits to the two named museums with participants’ efforts to share what they learn with others.
