Description
The Massachusetts Office of Grants and Research (OGR) administers this federally funded state share of the Homeland Security Grant Program. It supports state-agency projects that build, sustain or enhance capabilities to prevent, prepare for, protect against and respond to terrorism and other catastrophic events. Eligible work includes planning, organizational activities, equipment, training and exercises with a clear connection to those capabilities.
OGR seeks projects that address identified capability gaps and advance the State Homeland Security Strategy, Massachusetts threat and preparedness priorities, and the National Preparedness Goal. State priorities include active-shooter and hostile-event response, intelligence sharing, critical infrastructure protection, cybersecurity, emergency communications and other statewide preparedness needs.
