Description
The program aims to enhance child passenger safety across Massachusetts by supporting state and municipal agencies, not-for-profit hospitals, and nonprofits serving children and families. Through this initiative, eligible organizations receive car seats and educational materials to distribute to low-income families, paired with caregiver education on proper car seat installation and use. The program is administered by the Office of Grants and Research (OGR) using federal funds from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).
