Description
The Honor Frost Foundation’s Open Access Award supports authors who otherwise would not be able to publish their research as Open Access articles. It funds publication of peer-reviewed articles directly related to maritime archaeological research in the eastern Mediterranean, covering the article processing charges often required by journals and publications.
The award focuses on making research available through Open Access publication, rather than funding the research project itself. It forms part of the Foundation’s work supporting maritime archaeology in the eastern Mediterranean. Supported articles must use a Creative Commons Attribution (CC-BY) licence and acknowledge the Foundation’s support.
