Description
The Battle Born Scholarship is a privately funded education award administered independently by Honor Society® and its designated scholarship review committee. It recognizes Nevada-based students who demonstrate academic achievement alongside contributions beyond the classroom, including leadership, community service, and society involvement. Applicants describe their current studies, accomplishments, and the relationship between their education and their life or future goals.
The scholarship forms part of Honor Society’s state-specific scholarship program, which offers students an opportunity to compete within a state-level rather than national applicant pool. Assessment considers academic, professional, and personal achievements, including honors and awards, while also recognizing ambition, service, and community commitment. Academic performance is evaluated alongside these broader contributions rather than as the sole measure of achievement.
