Description
The Honorably Discharged Graduate Assistance Program (HDGAP) is a need-based benefit administered by the Florida Department of Education Office of Student Financial Assistance. It provides supplemental financial support to active duty and honorably discharged veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces (who served on or after September 11, 2001) enrolled in Florida postsecondary institutions. The program is designed to help cover essential living expenses—such as food, shelter, utilities, and personal care products—during holiday and semester breaks when traditional financial aid may be unavailable.
