The Honorary Membership Award is one of the highest honors bestowed by the Society of Vertebrate Paleontology. Honorees may be researchers, curators, field workers, preparators, or others who have demonstrated outstanding impact and dedication to advancing the field. The award is honorary and does not include a monetary prize.
