The AATS Foundation Honoring Our Cleveland Clinic Mentors Program provides selected chief or penultimate year North American cardiothoracic surgery residents with a full-day, in-person educational experience at the Cleveland Clinic. The program is designed to help participants understand the steps to securing their first academic position, develop areas of specialized expertise, and successfully launch their academic surgical careers. In addition to the main seminar, attendees may join an evening networking reception and observe Grand Rounds or an operating room session. The program honors the legacy of Cleveland Clinic staff and former AATS presidents Delos M. Cosgrove, MD, Floyd D. Loop, MD, and Bruce W. Lytle, MD, for their significant impact on the specialty.
