Hour of Hope Grants support religious organizations in South Dakota that use media to reach people who are unable or choose not to participate in regular congregational worship activities. Administered by the Sioux Falls Area Community Foundation in partnership with donors, the program focuses on maintaining contact with people outside regular worship participation through religious media outreach.
The program favors new and innovative media outreach ministries, as well as the redevelopment of existing ministries. Its focus includes both establishing outreach efforts and renewing ministries already providing media contact. Funding is offered through matching grants to eligible nonprofit organizations and churches.
