Description
The Housing Planning Grant Program (HPLN), administered by the Colorado Department of Local Affairs (DOLA), provides competitive grants to municipalities, counties, councils of governments, regional planning commissions, and other regional entities in Colorado. The program funds the development or revision of Housing Needs Assessments (HNAs), Housing Action Plans, and strategic growth and water supply elements of comprehensive plans—ensuring alignment with SB24-174 requirements. HPLN aims to help local governments better understand their housing challenges, support strategic growth, and meet new state compliance deadlines for planning and reporting.
