Description
The South Dakota Housing Trust Fund (HTF) provides financial assistance for the acquisition, new construction, and rehabilitation of multifamily rental housing serving extremely low-income households (at or below 30% of Area Median Income). The program is administered by the South Dakota Housing Development Authority (SDHDA) and is designed to increase the supply of safe, decent, and affordable housing across the state. Eligible activities also include relocation assistance and reasonable planning or administrative costs. Projects must maintain affordability for at least 30 years.
