The Amarillo Handgunners Association fbo The Bill Goodson Memorial Scholarship, administered by the Amarillo Area Foundation, is designed to assist graduating high school seniors from the northernmost 26 counties of the Texas Panhandle who are actively involved in shooting sports and related activities. Recipients may select any accredited college or university and pursue any field of study, provided they remain in good academic standing throughout their enrollment. The scholarship aims to support students’ educational pursuits regardless of major, as long as they meet the activity and residency requirements.
