Description
This grant encourages innovative approaches for professionals to acquire technical expertise and scientific knowledge through international exchange. The program is designed to foster professional growth, facilitate new research, and create opportunities in the applicant’s home country. While research-based activities are prioritized, other proposals that advance the professional standing and reputation of scientists are also considered. The grant is particularly supportive of early-career professionals and projects likely to open new avenues for professional advancement. The exchange must occur between the U.S./Canada and another country, depending on the applicant’s home country, and requires collaboration with a host scientist who is an ACSM member.
