Description
This program aims to catalyze and strengthen international collaboration in environmental and occupational health research and training, with a particular focus on partnerships between U.S. and low- and middle-income country (LMIC) institutions. The initiative supports the development of interdisciplinary research hubs (GEOHealth Hubs) that address environmental and chemical exposures, their impacts on health, and inform prevention and intervention strategies relevant to both LMIC and U.S. populations. Projects are expected to integrate research and research training, promote data and resource sharing, and provide opportunities for graduate students, postdocs, and early-career investigators.
