Description
The Huguenot Bursary for Historical Research is an annual award administered by the Institute of Historical Research and funded by the Trustees of the French Huguenot Church of London Charitable Trust. It supports historians at any career stage undertaking research into the history of French, Dutch, Flemish, or Walloon Protestants (the Huguenots and related communities) from the 16th century to the present, in any global context. The bursary is intended to facilitate archival research that leads to significant scholarly outputs, such as publications or the completion of a doctoral thesis. Recipients may use the award to cover travel, accommodation, subsistence, and other research expenses, and are encouraged to engage with the IHR community and disseminate their findings.
