Description
The Huguenot Bursary is an annual award made by the Trustees of the French Huguenot Church of London Charitable Trust on the advice of the Institute of Historical Research (IHR). It supports historians researching any aspect of French, Dutch, Flemish or Walloon Protestant history from the 16th century to the present, wherever that history took place.
The bursary is intended to make a period of archival research possible and help bring the work toward publication or completion of a doctoral thesis. Recipients working in London may use the IHR as a base and participate in its activities.
