The HUMAN Fellowship at Ragdale is a multi-year artist residency program designed for practitioners whose work engages the intersection of the humanities, artificial intelligence (AI), and social justice. As part of Lake Forest College’s HUMAN initiative, the fellowship offers selected artists two residency experiences: a six-day themed residency focused on AI, humanities, and social justice, followed by an individual 18-day fee-waived residency at Ragdale. Fellows receive uninterrupted time for creative work, live/work space, weeknight communal dinners, a stipend, and the support of a vibrant artistic community. The program aims to advance cultural exchange, support innovative work, and foster a diverse cohort of artists shaping the future of the arts.
