Description
This grant, offered by the Agency for Science Technology and Research (A*STAR), aims to advance research that empowers caregivers to support healthy development in children from preconception through early and mid-childhood (up to 10 years old). The initiative is part of Singapore’s Human Health and Potential domain under the national RIE2025 and 2030 plans, focusing on holistic health, wellness, academic readiness, and increasing the long-term economic contribution of individuals. The 2026 call centers on the theme “Empowering Caregivers to Foster Healthy Development,” encouraging projects that strengthen caregiving relationships, enhance caregiver well-being, optimize multi-caregiver arrangements, and promote caregiver-led play. All research must be conducted in Singapore and address the needs of its diverse socioeconomic and cultural contexts.
