Description
The Humanities and Social Sciences Prestigious Fellowship Scheme (HSSPFS) is designed to support outstanding academic staff at UGC-funded universities in Hong Kong, working within the humanities and social sciences. The scheme provides up to 12 months of extended time-off from teaching and administrative duties, along with substantial research funding. The goal is to enable awardees to focus on significant research and writing projects, thereby advancing knowledge and scholarly output in these fields. Funding covers salary costs for relief staff, research project expenses, travel, subsistence, and dissemination.
