Humanities Texas launched Exhibition Grants in August 2025 to help educational, historical, and cultural organizations bring its traveling exhibitions and related programming to public audiences throughout Texas. The program supports work grounded in history, literature, heritage, art history, philosophy, social sciences, and contemporary society and culture. Supported activities serve adults and young people outside the regular school or college classroom.
Exhibition-related programming may include book discussions, conferences, lectures, panel discussions, festivals, film screenings, living history, media productions, oral history, workshops, and educational digital or web media. Programs targeting K–12 teachers, ethnic and community groups, humanities practitioners, professional groups, or seniors are also welcome. Funding decisions emphasize program design, humanities content, expert qualifications, and responsiveness to the intellectual, cultural, or professional needs of Texas audiences.
