Description
The Humboldt Research Award, granted by the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, honors internationally leading researchers from outside Germany for their entire academic record. Recipients are recognized for fundamental discoveries, theories, or insights that have had a lasting impact beyond their discipline. Awardees are invited to carry out a research project of their choice in collaboration with colleagues at a German research institution. The award includes individualized support, opportunities for language courses, and ongoing alumni engagement.
