This award supports U.S. scholars to conduct independent research in any academic or professional discipline at one of Hungary’s premier research institutes recognized as "MTA Centres of Excellence" by the Hungarian Academy of Sciences (MTA). Scholars are encouraged to collaborate with Hungarian researchers and may engage in activities such as faculty training, curriculum development, community outreach, and guest lectures. The program aims to deepen academic connections and promote international cooperation and mutual understanding between the United States and Hungary. Research can be conducted in laboratory, field, archival, or artistic settings.
