Description
The Hurricane Loss Mitigation Program (HLMP) is a state-funded initiative administered by the Florida Division of Emergency Management to reduce the impacts of hurricanes across Florida. The program provides grants for projects that retrofit residential and non-residential properties, implement localized flood risk reduction, upgrade utility infrastructure, and support hurricane-related public education and research.
