Description
This Horizon Europe Coordination and Support Action aims to accelerate the decarbonisation of European cities by supporting the adoption of renewable hydrogen in hard-to-abate sectors such as industry and heavy transport. The selected project will establish "twinning" partnerships between cities and existing Hydrogen Valleys, focusing on knowledge sharing, feasibility assessments, implementation planning, and impact evaluation. The initiative seeks to foster innovation, enhance synergies between the EU's Climate-Neutral and Smart Cities Mission and the Clean Hydrogen Partnership, and promote the integration of renewable hydrogen to improve air quality and support sustainable economic growth in urban and peri-urban areas.
