The Bigglesworth Family Foundation’s I & R Grants support legal services projects and programs that are both innovative and replicable. The program gives legal services leaders room to test models that may benefit their own organizations while offering approaches that peer organizations can adopt. Supported work may include strategy-focused projects that improve organizational effectiveness in addressing questions raised internally or across the legal services sector.
BFF describes itself as a small foundation seeking to allocate resources in a “right sized” manner. Its broader legal services funding supports new and pilot programs, as well as existing work with limited funding opportunities, including intersectional work, impact litigation, and research.
