Description
The I Tatti Artist in Residence Program provides visual artists, architects, writers, filmmakers, composers, musicians, performers, critics, and curators with the opportunity to pursue creative projects in a tranquil and inspiring environment at Villa I Tatti, just outside Florence, Italy. Rooted in Bernard Berenson’s vision for fostering artistic and humanistic pursuits, the program offers residents uninterrupted time, access to extensive library and archival resources, and opportunities for interaction with a vibrant community of scholars working in Italian and Global Renaissance studies. The residency encourages both seclusion for focused work and engagement through social and academic events, as well as collaborations with local cultural institutions.
