Description
This fellowship, supported by the Samuel H. Kress Foundation and hosted at the Harvard University Center for Italian Renaissance Studies (Villa I Tatti), is designed for scholars, librarians, archivists, and data science professionals whose work bridges traditional disciplines and incorporates digital technology. Fellows pursue innovative projects related to the Italian Renaissance (14th–17th centuries, broadly defined both historically and geographically), employing digital methods such as mapping, textual analysis, visualization, or the semantic web. The fellowship provides dedicated time, exceptional scholarly resources, and integration into a vibrant intellectual community in Florence. Recipients are expected to engage actively with the I Tatti scholarly community and participate in events, conferences, and collaborative activities.
