Key Information: Only active IACMI members or IACMI Working Groups may submit proposals; all project partners must join before Project Agreement review.
Resource Pool Projects are run by the Institute for Advanced Composites Manufacturing Innovation (IACMI), also known as The Composites Institute. The program funds precompetitive technical work that advances, uses, or demonstrates emerging technologies with the potential to attract higher levels of follow-on funding. Projects should address opportunities with direct or indirect benefits for a broad portion of the consortium’s membership.
The Resource Pool draws on membership fees set aside annually. Proposals may come from a single member, multiple members, or an IACMI Working Group. Technical outcomes are intended to be shared with members to encourage further development and commercialization. The program supports IACMI’s broader work to accelerate advanced composites design, manufacturing, and technical innovation, including applications in transportation, energy, and infrastructure.
