The Pediatric Oral Health Research Group of the International Association for Dental, Oral, and Craniofacial Research (IADR) established this award, sponsored by the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, to promote research on the oral health of children and adolescents. It recognizes excellence in work by pediatric dentists, clinicians, and academicians presented at the IADR General Session & Exhibition.
A judging panel selects finalists based on their abstracts, then evaluates their oral or poster presentations in person. Final judging considers presentation quality and responses to questions.
