--- ## Description The IADR Cariology Research Group Science Award is designed to promote and recognize excellence in research within the fields of cariology, erosion, and related subjects. The award is open to researchers who submit high-quality abstracts for presentation at the annual International Association for Dental, Oral, and Craniofacial Research (IADR) scientific meeting. Abstracts undergo a rigorous peer-review and selection process, with the goal of highlighting exceptional contributions to the advancement of cariology and related sciences. --- ## Due Dates - October 2026: Abstract submission deadline (anticipated/projected) *All dates are projected based on the annual cycle; check the program page for updates.* --- ## Funding Amount - $500 awarded per recipient. - Up to three awardees may be selected each year. - The award is presented during the annual IADR scientific meeting. --- ## Eligibility - Abstracts must address topics in cariology, erosion, or related subjects. - The abstract must be submitted for presentation at the annual IADR scientific meeting. - During submission, applicants must: - Select the Cariology Research Group (CRG) as the reviewing group. - Indicate their wish to be considered for the CRG Science Award. - Abstracts authored by members of the CRG Executive Committee are not eligible. - The presenting author of the awarded abstract is expected to attend the annual IADR scientific meeting and related CRG activities. --- ## Application Process - Submit an abstract via the IADR annual meeting abstract submission portal. - During submission, select the CRG as the group for abstract review and indicate interest in the CRG Science Award. - Abstracts are reviewed in two stages: 1. Initial scoring and selection by CRG Abstract Lead Reviewers and Abstract Reviewers. 2.
