Description
Administered by IADR and sponsored by Colgate-Palmolive Company, these travel awards encourage new investigators to undertake oral disease-prevention research and present their work to the international dental and oral health research community. The awards support attendance at the IADR General Session & Exhibition, with applications tied to abstracts submitted for presentation.
Eligible research addresses prevention of caries, gingivitis, periodontitis, xerostomia, oral cancer, or other oral diseases and conditions. Research on preventing systemic disease is also considered when oral disease is a significant potential contributory factor. Beyond preventive agents, the program welcomes preventive programs, demonstration projects, and community programs with measured, reported outcomes and clearly articulated disease-prevention benefits.
