Description
The IADR Digital Dentistry Research Network established this award to promote the quality of research by young researchers at the annual IADR scientific meeting. It recognizes full-time or part-time university students whose digital dentistry abstracts are accepted for the IADR General Session. Selection emphasizes academic merit, potential impact, originality, and professional presentation of the abstract.
The network’s scope spans dental disciplines testing and integrating digital technologies into diagnosis, treatment planning, and clinical operations. Relevant topics include intra-operative treatment, intra-oral and extra-oral scanning, operative accuracy and efficiency, machine learning, CAD/CAM milling, 3D printing, digitally fabricated material properties, and interdisciplinary coordination. The 2027 General Session will take place in Melbourne, Australia.
