Description
The International Association for Dental, Oral, and Craniofacial Research (IADR) E.W. Borrow Memorial Award recognizes and stimulates research in oral health promotion for children. Sponsored by The Borrow Foundation and awarded annually since 1992, it gives priority to caries prevention using fluoride in different formats.
The award considers basic research, applied clinical research, and clinical investigation. It recognizes the originality of researchers' contributions, their record of achievement in oral health promotion, and the significance of their research on children's oral health. Nominations are reviewed by a BMF/IADR Committee, and the award is presented at the Opening Ceremonies of the IADR General Session & Exhibition.
