Description
The IADR GOHIRN Travel Award for New Investigators supports attendance at the IADR General Session & Exhibition to present research on all aspects of oral health where inequalities exist. Offered by the International Association for Dental Oral and Craniofacial Research and sponsored by its Global Oral Health Inequalities Research Network (GOHIRN), the award is intended for new investigators residing in low to upper middle-income countries.
The program aims to encourage new investigators to undertake research and share their findings at the meeting. It provides travel expense support rather than direct research funding. Its broad scope includes work on oral health-related quality of life, inequalities in dental care utilization, and determinants of dental caries.
