Description
The International Association for Dental Oral and Craniofacial Research (IADR), through its Mineralized Tissue Research Group (MTG), offers this award to acknowledge outstanding young researchers and support their travel to the IADR General Session & Exhibition. It is open to pre-doctoral and post-doctoral students presenting mineralized tissue research at the meeting.
The award combines a cash prize with formal recognition at the MTG Business Meeting. A subcommittee of the MTG Executive Committee assesses submitted abstracts for scientific rigor, relevance, and potential impact. Recognized work has included self-mineralizing scaffolds, periodontal and skeletal biomechanics, mineralization, fracture healing, osteogenesis, craniofacial skeletal cell lineages, and biomimetic enamel repair.
