--- ## Description This award, sponsored by the IADR Pediatric Oral Health Research Group and the Taiwan Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, is designed to promote and acknowledge outstanding research in pediatric oral health conducted by junior scientists in the IADR Southeast Asian Division. The award is based on the submission of an abstract and an in-person presentation at the IADR General Session. Its aim is to encourage innovative scientific contributions that advance the understanding and improvement of oral health for children and adolescents in Southeast Asia. --- ## Due Dates - Anticipated application deadline: October 2026 *All dates are projected based on the annual cycle; check the program page for updates.* --- ## Funding Amount - Cash prize of $1,000 (USD) - Formal recognition with a plaque - Award is given annually to one recipient --- ## Eligibility - Must be a member of both the IADR and IADR Southeast Asian Division at the time of application. - Must be a member of the IADR Pediatric Oral Health Research (POHR) group by the time of application and at prize receipt. - Applicants must have completed their last degree, fellowship, or training program within the past 5 years (by the projected deadline, October 2026). - A letter from the graduate institution confirming graduation within the last 5 years is required. - Research must focus on pediatric oral health. - Applicants can only apply under one category of the Pediatric Oral Health Research Group Awards in any given year. - The applicant must be the primary author and presenter of an accepted abstract at the IADR General Session. - Must pre-register and attend the IADR General Session and the Pediatric Oral Health Research Group annual business meeting. --- ## Application Process - Submit an abstract for presentation at the IADR General Session & Exhibition.
