Description
The International Association for Dental Oral and Craniofacial Research (IADR) offers this travel award, sponsored by the Pediatric Dentistry Working Group (PDWG), to encourage African investigators to undertake research in any area of pediatric oral health and share their findings at the IADR General Session & Exhibition. The award supports meeting attendance and research presentation rather than funding the research itself.
Selection emphasizes general excellence in pediatric oral health research, as demonstrated by an abstract submitted to the Pediatric Oral Health Research (POHR) scientific group. The presenting author whose abstract is judged to have the highest scientific merit is selected. Research may be presented in either poster or oral form.
