The IADR Salivary Research Award recognizes dental students, PhD students, and postdoctoral fellows for meritorious salivary research presented at the IADR General Session & Exhibition.

Description
The IADR Salivary Research Award encourages excellence in salivary research among dental scientists and dental and non-dental students. Applicants enter by submitting an abstract for the IADR General Session & Exhibition. Their work must fall within the Salivary Research area of study and pass the meeting’s normal scientific review before it can be considered for an award.
Officers of the IADR Salivary Research Group select awardees from eligible, accepted abstracts. Awards are granted only when abstracts demonstrate sufficient merit. Awardees present a scientific poster or give an oral presentation at the General Session & Exhibition, where the awards are formally presented at the group’s business meeting.
