Description
The IADR STAR Network Fellowship combines attendance at the IADR General Session & Exhibition with a research experience at a laboratory near the meeting. Run by the International Association for Dental Oral and Craniofacial Research, it supports placements immediately before or after the conference. Fellows connect with colleagues in their research area, experience contemporary research environments, learn innovative techniques, and develop shared research protocols and possible funding applications.
The 2027 host laboratories in Australia offer research opportunities in bacteriophages and periodontal bacteria, connections between oral and systemic health, and childhood oral health and disease. Placements last up to three weeks and complement participation in the General Session.
