Description
The IADR Student Training and Research (STAR) Network established this travel award to promote student attendance at the IADR General Session & Exhibition. Supported by the American Association for Dental, Oral, and Craniofacial Research, the award helps students overcome the financial challenges of attending a scientific meeting and recognizes research excellence across scientific backgrounds.
The program reflects the STAR Network’s view that new researchers are critical to the future of dental, oral, and craniofacial research through leadership and scientific contributions. A STAR Network awards committee evaluates applicants’ research abstracts for scientific rigor, originality, potential impact, and the student’s contribution. Recipients are recognized at the STAR Network business meeting.
