    Description

The International Association for Great Lakes Research (IAGLR) offers the Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility+ (IDEA+) Workshop Award to broaden participation in the association by welcoming and involving people from historically marginalized communities. The award supports people who want to host a workshop at the annual Conference on Great Lakes Research and bring a wider diversity of perspectives into conference discussions.

Supported workshops connect large lake science, management, education, communication, policy, and community. The program emphasizes proposals that integrate these areas while advancing inclusion, diversity, equity, and accessibility. Applications for the current cycle support workshops at the 2027 conference in Duluth, Minnesota.
