Key Information: The guidelines require current student status and IAMG membership, with one application per permitted study stage.
The IAMG Student Travel Grant Program helps student members attend and present their work at the IAMG Annual Conference and other conferences sponsored by the International Association for Mathematical Geosciences. Support is tied to both conference attendance and delivery of an accepted oral or poster presentation. Oral presentations and full-paper publication in an IAMG journal are encouraged, and mentorship is offered in connection with conference contributions.
The IAMG Student Affairs Committee administers the program and sets individual awards based on the merit of the presentation and estimated travel costs from the applicant’s normal location. Assistance can cover conference registration, travel, lodging, and meals. Recipients claim their grants through the IAMG Treasurer after attending the conference and presenting their work.
