The International Association for the Study of German Politics (IASGP) Project Fund supports work that furthers the association’s aims in German politics. Expanding its previous seminar fund, the scheme covers workshops, seminars, public-facing events, and individual fieldwork in Germany. These are examples rather than an exhaustive list: other proposals advancing the association’s work may also be considered.
The fund promotes inclusive scholarly exchange, with attention to participants’ backgrounds and career stages and encouragement to involve scholars from several countries. Applicants are encouraged to consider publications in the journal German Politics, including special issues, or other outputs such as blog posts and edited volumes. The association also expects applicants to endeavour to attend its annual conference and, where appropriate, present their research findings.
