Description
The IBRO/Dana Foundation Brain Awareness Week Grants program, supported by the Dana Foundation in partnership with the International Brain Research Organization (IBRO), aims to foster public understanding and appreciation of the brain and neuroscience. The grant funds outreach projects—such as lectures, fairs, workshops, and community engagement events—that are organized for Brain Awareness Week in regions outside of Europe (including the United States, Canada, Africa, Latin America, and the Asia/Pacific region). The primary goal is to expand the reach of brain science education and inspire broader engagement with neuroscience, especially in areas where resources or public awareness may be limited.
