The IBRO Parenthood Grants are designed to help early-career researchers maintain research continuity during periods of pregnancy, parental leave, or adoption leave. Recognizing the challenges that coincide with these life events—often at critical career stages—this grant offers flexible funding for research-related expenses (e.g., reagents, facility costs, data acquisition, outsourcing experiments), as well as travel and childcare costs for conference attendance and grant writing support. The goal is to reduce practical and financial barriers, enabling researchers to continue their scientific progress without interruption.
