Idaho INBRE’s supplementary Travel & Seminar Series opportunity supports two complementary ways to share research and scientific knowledge. Travel Support helps faculty and students present biomedical research findings at regional or national conferences. Seminar Series Support funds individual talks, multi-event series, and proposed community outreach events organized around a scientific focus or theme for an identified audience.
The program supports both participation in research conferences and the practical costs of bringing invited presenters to scientific events. Travel requests can include registration, per diem, flights, hotels, and other applicable expenses. Seminar requests can include speaker fees, speaker travel, rooms, and other necessary event costs. Idaho INBRE administers the awards through participating institutions’ INBRE block grants.
